The Jackson Association of REALTORS® is offering an Education Seminar for
REALTORS® and Builders to better understand and learn the importance of their
partnerships. It will be presented by REALTOR®/Builder Dee Denton, Owner
of Denton Adkins Realty, LLC and Denton Custom Homes, LLC.
Topics to be discussed:
· Unique characteristics of Builders & Real Estate Agents
· Common points of interest between Builders & Real Estate Agents.
· Difference between a licensed Real Esate Agent/Broker and REALTOR®.
· Review Builders options for sales staff and how MREC law effects the
different options.
· Importance of market research to new construction
· Review mandated MREC forms & discuss how MREC law mandates their
use. (including Property Condition Form, Agency Disclosure Form and Dual
Agency Form)
· Real Estate Law, Contract Law and New Construction: How to make these
3 catagories come together easier.
· Punch List vs. New Home Orientation: What is considered Industry
Standard.
